This 90-minute introductory workshop provides educators, school support staff, and leaders with a clear and practical foundation in Transformative Social and Emotional Learning (TSEL). Participants will explore the five CASEL competencies, five focal constructs and understand how TSEL supports student engagement, academic success, and overall well-being. The workshop blends research, real school examples, and hands-on activities to help participants understand how TSEL strengthens classroom climate, improves behavior and motivation, and builds strong, trusting relationships. Attendees will experience simple strategies that can be integrated immediately into daily routines, instruction, and interactions with students. Participants will leave with ready-to-use tools, reflection prompts, and next steps to continue building a school culture where every student feels seen, heard, and valued.
